Happy Hump Day!    I actually have off of work today (took another vacation day), so I am pretty happy.   Yesterday – not so much!   I had a horrible day yesterday.  I knew it wasn’t going to be a great day when I got to the gym only to discover that my iPod was not in my bag that I keep it in with my headphones.   For me, no music = no want to work out.   haha   I did still put in 40 mins. on the treadmill since I thankfully had a magazine with me and the TV on the treadmill.     When I got home from the gym, I found my iPod laying on the dining room table where I usually keep it – it must have just fell out of the bag before I left.  I then took a shower and started to get ready for work.   I made my coffee in the Keurig, added a little sugar, and some coconut almond milk.  I noticed that the coffee looked extremely white and didn’t know why.  Yeah, seems I forgot one very important thing – to put a K-cup in the Keurig.   My day continued in the same fashion all day yesterday.    So needless to say, I am happy to be off today and happy that this weekend is a 3 day weekend.

The Sunshine Award is given to bloggers who brighten your day.      Courtney’s blog definitely brightens my day.   I must say that Bosco is also quite a fan of adorable Miss Daisy.  🙂

Here are my answers to Courtney’s ten questions:

1-  What is your favorite meal?   

I LOVE penne with vodka sauce and it is definitely my favorite meal.  Throw some grilled chicken or shrimp on top, and you have the most delicious dinner I could ever want.   My favorite dessert is creme brulee.    If a restaurant has creme brulee for dessert, you can be sure that is what I will get.

2-  What’s your favorite season?

Without question, Fall!!!    I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE everything about Fall.   I love the crispness in the air, the pretty leaves, going pumpkin picking, sweaters and boots, and pretty much everything that goes along with Fall.    If I could move somewhere it was Fall year round, I would in a heartbeat!

3-  What are you currently obsessed with?

Bosco obviously, but that is nothing new.    I am also obsessed with nut butters and peanut butter lately.   I eat some every single day and seem to buy a new one every time I am at the store.   They are just so delicious!!

4-  What are you reading?

I just started Second Honeymoon by James Patterson and really like it so far.   I have read about 1000 other James Patterson books and am a big fan.

5-  Flats or heels?

While I obviously love the look of heels more, I definitely own and wear a lot more flats.

6-  Are you a morning or night person?

I am 100% a morning person.   I think after years of getting up early for school and work, my body is just used to it.   I also like getting things like cleaning and food shopping done in the morning, so I have the rest of the day free and don’t have to think about them anymore.   Most days during the week, I get up at 4:45 AM, have some coffee while checking blogs / Facebook / emails, throw in a load of laundry, clean the bathroom, go to the gym and then come home to shower, all before work.   I recently had a conversation about this with one of my friends and she told me I am her hero.   haha     It may not be for everyone, but I think I will always be a morning person.

7-  What’s your favorite pin on Pinterest?

I actually never go on Pinterest.     I will say that Courtney’s answer to this question had me drooling.  Peanut Butter Cup Cookie Dough Dip??  Yes, please!!

8-  What’s a song you can’t get out of your head?

Anything But Mine by Kenny Chesney.    I adore Kenny Chesney and could listen to him ALL.DAY.LONG!!!!!

9-  Who is the last person you talked to?

My husband.    If you looked through my phone, you would see I pretty much talk to the same 5 people or so over and over again – usually Pat, my sister (we talk every day), my mom, or one of my friends.

10-  What are 5 things you can’t live without?

Pat, Bosco and the rest of my family.

My iPhone.

I have my iPhone with me at all times – for calls, texts, checking emails/blogs/Facebook, taking 100000000 pictures of Bosco daily, listening to music. I would be lost without it.

Perfume.

I wear perfume every single day, and probably way more than is necessary.   I am obsessed with things that smell nice and wear perfume even on days I may not be going out of the house much.   My favorite perfume right now is Love, Chloe.    I LOVE the scent.

My Washer / Dryer

I do laundry every single day, sometimes several loads.  I am obsessed with having clean clothes, towels, and sheets and love the ability to do wash whenever I want. There have been a few occasions when our washer or dryer needed to be repaired and we were without them for a few days and I was NOT happy.     I give anyone who regularly goes to the laundromat a lot of credit.

Coffee.

I LOVE coffee and look forward to drinking it every day.

Hey guys!

It’s Friday  …  woohoo!!!!

This AM I got up at 4:45 AM and went to the gym before work.      I walked at a high incline on the treadmill for 1/2 hr. and then did some legs.

On the way home from the gym, I stopped at A&P and this happened.

This is a perfectly normal purchase to be made right after the gym and at 6:45 AM, right?  RIGHT!   🙂  By the way, this is one of my favorite ice cream flavors EVER.  If you never had it, you need to change that this weekend.

While I was up nice and early, not everyone in the house was.

Hey Guys!

It’s Friday .. woohoo!!!        It has been a long week and I am so glad the weekend is almost here.

1 – I was scheduled for jury duty this week, but didn’t have to go to court!   I was on call for 3 days, which basically just meant I didn’t need to show up but had to check the website each night to see if I was needed the next day.   Thankfully, I didn’t have to go at all.       About 3 months prior to this, I received a summons that I was scheduled for jury duty for a case that was every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for 3 1/2 months!   WHAT??!!!    I had never heard of such a thing.  I requested to postpone my service and was approved, which lead to my jury duty service this week.     I will be happy if I don’t get another notice for jury duty for a long time!   🙂

2- I mentioned in a previous post how much I loved this argan oil.

Well, I still do love it.   I put just a small amount in my hair after I get out of the shower and my hair has honestly never been softer or more smooth.   I have used it for a few weeks now and for whatever reason, I decided to read the back of the container the other morning to see how much was recommended to use.  Well, it turns out, you are supposed to comb it through your hair, leave it in for just 5 mins., and then rinse it out.    I have been using it as a leave in conditioner / treatment.     WHOOPSIES!!!    haha

3 – This is totally me EVERY time Pat and I attempt to watch a movie during the week.   Yet I always still convince him we should rent a movie at night.  🙂

4 – How cute are these pictures of Bosco from last weekend?   The cutest little boy ever??  Me thinks so!

5- Have you guys tried these yet?   If not, go get some.  NOW!

6 – I bought this BB cream a while back but didn’t use it until last weekend.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE it.   I especially like that it is SPF 30.

7 – I have finally tried these new Quest bars.    I liked them a lot, but Banana Nut Muffin is still my favorite flavor.

8- I am IN LOVE with this peanut butter.   I have been putting a spoonful in my Greek yogurt every day and it is so delicious.

9 – I recently received an email from a spa near my house that I go to every now and then to let me know they miss me.  Well, who am I to make them suffer???  I think I need to make an appt. VERY soon.

So in my last post I mentioned Pat and I were not sure where we were going for vacation.      Well, I am happy to say we finally decided.

If you need me the 2nd week of October, you can find me floating around the lazy river.     **Please don’t mind my super pale skin, mmmmkay?**    🙂

We are going to Aruba .. woohoo!!!    I am super excited.

The other highlight of my weekend was, of course, the awesomeness that is Kenny Chesney.    I absolutely LOVE him.    Pat and I had such a GREAT time.
