I just wanted to pop in to say Happy Thanksgiving!!

Pat and I put our turkey in the oven about an hr. ago and the house already smells wonderful.  My mom and sister are on their way to our house and I am looking forward to spending time with them and eating lots and lots of yummy food.

So lately there has been something going around on Facebook where you list some random facts about yourself. You then give a # to anyone that likes your status and they have to list that many random facts about themselves.    I thought it would be a fun idea for a post.

Some Random Facts About Me

1- My 2 favorite scents ever are Downy fabric softener and Love, Chloe perfume.

2- I made Dean’s List every semester while I was in college.
3- I have went swimming with dolphins in the Bahamas and held baby tigers in South Carolina.

4- I LOVE the Fall. If I could find a place that has Fall like weather year round, I would move there in a heartbeat.

5- I only started to like country music in the last 3 years or so and now it is my favorite type of music. (Hellloooo Kenny Chesney!!)

6- My dad set up my first email address for me when I was a senior in high school and it is the email address I still use to this day.
7- My favorite meal is penne with vodka sauce and my favorite dessert is Crème Brulee.

8- My favorite movie of all time is Dirty Dancing. I have seen it about 10000000000000 times (give or take).

Happy Friday! We made it through another week!

1- Pat and I decided to host Thanksgiving at our house this year. As of now, we are just having my mom and sister over and we’re waiting to hear back from one of Pat’s brothers to see if his family will be coming as well.  Not to sound like a Debbie Downer, but I am honestly not looking forward to Thanksgiving this year at all. It will be the first one without my dad and it just won’t be the same without him. My dad LOVED to cook and loved Thanksgiving. He would wake up super early and cook everything homemade throughout the day – turkey soup, stuffing, mashed potatoes, you name it. One thing I will always have are great memories of many Thanksgivings spent with my dad.

2- How cute is my little hunny’s face???

3- Pat and I want to get a treadmill for the house. Does anyone have one that they would recommend? I will still continue to go to the gym as well, but it will be nice for days that it is freezing out at 5 AM and I don’t feel like leaving the house to work out.

Hey guys!

Happy Friday!   Anyone have anything fun on the agenda for this weekend? We have absolutely nothing going on as of now, so it should be a nice relaxing weekend.

1- One of my favorite shows right now is Revenge. Even though I LOVE it, apparently 9 PM (the time it is on) is a bit too late for this grandma. The last few weeks I fell asleep a few minutes before it was over. I watched Revenge last Sunday night and fell asleep about 5 minutes before the end. I tried to watch it again the next night and fell asleep AGAIN. Much to the dismay of my husband, I tried to watch it again on Wednesday. Pat didn’t understand why I kept watching it “over and over again”. I still had yet to see ALL of it!  I am happy to report that I was finally able to stay up for a full hr. to see all of last week’s episode.

2- Love this!  

3- I found a new blog that I LOVE —-> Living In Yellow. Erin, the girl behind the blog, is hilarious. I may or may not have spent well over an hr. reading post after post and I can tell it is definitely going to be one of my new favorite blogs.

4- Have you guys seen this video? So mean, but SO funny!  

5- Pat has a dinner to go to for work tonight, so Bosco and I have the house all to ourselves. I told Pat we are having a big party and he needs to let us know when he will be home.  (AKA Bosco will spend the night napping and I think I may go food shopping to get it out of the way for the weekend. It is going to be a CRAZY night over here!)

Hey guys!

How is your weekend going so far? Last night I went to Bath & Body Works after work to stock up on my FAVORITE lotion EVER.

Twisted Peppermint is a seasonal scent at Bath & Body Works and I am slightly obsessed with it. It is one of my favorite scents ever, so when they get it in, I STOCK UP!  (FYI – that is an old picture .. I actually got 6 large bottles of lotion – they were buy 3, get 3 free, some bath / shower gel, and several small containers of the lotion as well). It is safe to say I LOVE it.

My Saturday started pretty early with a big mug of coffee, while I did some work related things.  I am able to get on my work computer from home, which is awesome.

After I was done with some things for work, I went to the gym. I was not in the mood to work out today, but still managed to get in 1/2 hr. on the treadmill and did some legs as well.

I came home from the gym and cleaned the inside of my car. I am super anal about my car being clean, so I usually clean it once a week or so.

When I was done with my car, I took a shower and then headed to the post office to send out a package. I am doing the Fall K-Cup Swap over at It’s A Harleyyy Life and needed to send out some K-cups to the person I was paired with. I think the K-Cup Swap is such an awesome idea. I can’t wait to get my cups .. I LOVE me some coffee!!  

After I was done at the post office, I went to get my nails done.

As for the rest of today, I want to catch up on some shows (The Voice and Betrayal) that I missed during the week and read for a while as well.
