Hey guys!

How are you? Things have still been crazy over here at work, trying to get stuff done for the holidays, and re-doing the bathroom. So far the bathroom is coming out really nice! The guys started on Monday, and while the job was supposed to take from Monday-Saturday, I really don’t think everything will be done today. They still have to paint, do some of the floor, all of the moulding, and part of the shower.

Here are just a few pictures to give you a sneak peek of what it looks like so far:

Today we are supposed to get some snow yet again.. BOO!!!!! This will be the 3rd time this week!

The guys will be here at 8 AM to work on the bathroom and the snow is supposed to start early this AM, so it is time to get my butt to the gym!

Hey guys!

Happy Saturday!  Long time no talk, huh? Things have just been busy with work, the holidays, etc.

I just got back from my walk with Bosco, our sheets are in the wash, bathroom is cleaned, the house was vacuumed . Next up – breakfast and COFFEE, food shopping, and a trip to Trader Joe’s.

Later today, Pat and I need to pick out bathroom tiles for the upstairs shower and floor.  I don’t think I ever mentioned it on the blog before, but several months ago Pat and I decided to renovate our upstairs  bathroom. It was straight out of the 1950s since we moved in almost 10 years ago. Since we are thinking of moving soon, we decided it was finally time to do some renovations.  Pat wanted to try to do it all himself, even though he had no experience doing any of it and isn’t super handy.

Well, let’s just say it proved to be quite a project. haha  While he didn’t do a horrible job, some touch ups are still needed.

He definitely did an OK job, being that he is an accountant and never did anything like this before. He also saw how much work doing things like this are and I don’t think he will ever try to do it himself again. 

So bathroom renovations take 2 start on Monday (this time done by a professional). The guy is pretty much going to work with what Pat already did and just touch everything up, as well as take out the shower that is there now and put a new tiled one in.
