Happy Tuesday!

I think Bosco is concerned for Pat’s safety while running outside at night. Thankfully most cars MAY be able to see him in his new, super bright yellow running shorts. 🙂

Today is National Dog Day (although Bosco tells me it should be EVERY day!)

I have been using this moisturizer for the last few weeks and I LOVE it. This moisturizer is the best I’ve ever used and it smells AWESOME.

It has been quite hot and gross in NJ the last few days and it looks like it will continue to be for at least the next week .. tomorrow it is supposed to be over 90.   ewww!   I am desperately waiting for the Fall (my absolute favorite time of the year!).

Well, I am about to go enjoy a Skinny Cow ice cream sandwich (my new favorite snack every night).

Hey guys!

Happy Friday!  So where did we leave off yesterday?  I was about to leave for the gym – I did go to the gym for about an hr. of weights – mostly legs and some arms as well.

I came home, took a shower, ate breakfast (some fruit and a Quest bar) and left to get my hair done.

After I got my hair done, I made a stop at the mall because I wanted to get some new dress pants for work.  All of my work pants are pretty much from Express. I love them but they are quite expensive. I was upset because I always get coupons from them in the mail but didn’t have any with me at the time.  I told one of the girls that worked there that I received coupons recently but didn’t have any with me and she gave me a # to send a text to, which sent a coupon to my phone.  See, it doesn’t hurt to ask about things like that – the coupon saved me $50!

I got a new pair of pants and 2 shirts that I really liked.

A little while after I got home, my mom came over.  We decided to get some salads with grilled chicken for lunch. We just hung out and talked for a while and then she took me for a ride in her new car. We stopped at the store for a few things she needed to get.  I also got some much NEEDED things.

I am pretty sure these are only sold in stores around Halloween. I bought them last year and they are by far the best flavor of Tootsie Pops ever!! They are 2 for $5.00 at Rite Aid this week so you can be sure I am going to stock up!

When Pat got home from work, it was time for dinner. We enjoyed our stuffed peppers outside on the deck since it was a nice night out.  We then took a ride by the beach and then spent the rest of the night on the couch hanging out, talking, and watching TV.

Happy Thursday! It is almost the weekend AND I HAVE OFF OF WORK TODAY!   woohoo!

It is currently 5:45 AM (yes, I get up super early even on my days off! haha). I am about to head to the gym shortly for a quick workout and later this morning I have an appt. to get my hair done.

As I got ready to leave for work yesterday, Bosco got ready for his first nap of the day.

Today I get to live the life the Bosco a little and see what it is like to not have to go to work every day. 🙂

You would not believe how excited I was to find this at Target last weekend.

I actually have not tried it yet, but it is happening today! 🙂

After I get home from my appt. later today, my mom is going to come over and make dinner for Pat and I.  She asked what I wanted her to make and I decided on stuffed peppers.  I LOVE stuffed peppers but haven’t had them in forever so I am looking forward to it.  Oh, and she also may have bought a mocha cake and some custard cups for dessert. 🙂

#TRUTH    Am I right?? 🙂

Hey guys,

A few days ago, my mom and sister decided to take a last minute trip to Newport, RI. They left early Thursday AM and made it to CT when my mom’s car caught on fire. They are both thankfully OK, but the car looks to be totaled. Even though it put a bit of a damper on their trip, they still made it to RI (in a rental car) and were thankful for all the people, state troopers, and fire dept. that stopped to help them.

Saturday morning was spent cleaning, doing laundry, and taking Bosco for a much needed trip to the groomer.  My sister came over later in the day to hang out and pick up her Shih Tzu, Jake that was staying with us when her and my mom were away.

We had dinner on the deck. We grilled up some chicken sausage, chicken, and steak.

Bosco even had his own seat at the table. 🙂

Sunday morning was spent doing much the same as Saturday morning – cleaning, a walk with Bosco, laundry.  I also made it to the gym (for the first time in several days!).

This afternoon, I went to get a much needed pedicure at a spa near my house.

The rest of the day was spent hanging out on the couch, reading, and we grilled up some more chicken sausage and onions for dinner, which we enjoyed on our back deck.

Now it is time to watch Shark Week and have a Skinny Cow ice cream sandwich.

I have looked for this coffee at Target every time I was there for the last few months and they never had it … until last weekend!   woohoo

I bought Bosco this blanket several years ago but he was never the least bit interested in it. When he was so sick 2 weeks ago, I wrapped it around him when he was laying on the kitchen floor shaking. Now he likes to lay on it constantly … I guess he found it to be comforting!

a new book to read!   I LOVE Chevy Stevens!  If you guys have never read any of her books, I highly recommend them – especially Still Missing and Never Knowing.

our houseguest for the next few days – My mom and sister went away for a few days to RI and their Shih Tzu is going to stay with us until they get back.

I love reading posts where bloggers show what’s in their purse / make-up bag / shower / pantry, etc., so I thought I would let you guys take a look into my shower.

Welcome to my shower!

Let’s take a closer look, shall we?

The left front corner of the shower belongs to Bosco.

I give Bosco a bath pretty much every week, so I like to keep his shampoo handy.  I love the way this shampoo makes him smell and it makes his fur super soft.  I also use this same brand of conditioner on him as well, but keep that in our linen closet. The shampoo bottle is a lot bigger and heavier and I don’t feel like dragging it in and out of the closet every week, which is why I only keep the shampoo out all the time.

The middle of the shower is where I keep my soap, washcloths, and a loofah.

The front top right corner is Pat’s (only) area of the shower.

Here we have his razor, shampoo / conditioner in one, and his soap.

The bottom right corner is where I keep my favorite body scrub (that I am in LOVE with!).

If you guys have never tried this, go get some immediately. It smells amazing and leaves my skin so soft.

The back left corner is where you will find my body wash (SEVERAL of them!) and my conditioner.

I mostly use Philosophy body wash, but also buy whatever is on sale to try out new ones. My favorite one is the Philosophy Peppermint Bark.

The back top right corner is where I keep my razor and shampoo.

Right now I also have a few samples that I received in my last Birchbox.

The back wall is filled with yet more of my stuff: my favorite face wash, more shampoo and conditioner, and body wash.

The back left corner is also filled with more of the same. 🙂

One product in the above picture worth mentioning : the Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque.  I recently just bought this after hearing great reviews and it is AWESOME!  I have used it several times already and will definitely purchase it again!
