Hey guys!
I have dreaded this day for the last month … my first dentist appointment in 10 years! Yes, 10 years!! While my sister is a dental hygienist and has cleaned my teeth over the years, I had not seen a dentist in all those years. I am thrilled to report that I need absolutely no work done! The dentist said my teeth and gums are “pristine” and that he never sees that in people that have not been to the dentist in years. He said I take great care of my teeth and to keep doing what I’ve been doing. 🙂
FYI .. I already set up my next 6 month appointment and I will never go that long without going to the dentist again.
I am SO thrilled and relieved. 🙂

Congratulations! I’m the same way with the dentist! I dread going and often wait a little too long in between visits! I take good care of my teeth, too, but always worry when I have to go! LOL!
Congratulations on your pristine teeth and gums. Dentail hygiene is super important! Lol, I even brush my dogs teeth (and I’m not a crazy dog person at all *sarcasm*).
I am totally not a crazy dog lady either (typed from my phone that has approximately 100039948488993900 pictures of my Shih Tzu on it)! 🙂

I get dental anxiety, LOL. I let 2 years go by without a cleaning, and ended up with 7 cavities. CRY!
Whoo-hoo for a successful dentist appointment. I brush my teeth like crazy but still walk away with a cavity each time 😦 My doctor told me I have sensitive, soft teeth – apparently I’m more susceptible to getting cavities. They are definitely no fun. Ugh.

Wow, 10 year!?! Glad you went to get the chompers checked. I went over a year and finally decided I should go. HA. It’s funny because I was going to school for dental hygiene and when I changed my mind on that, I sorta changed my mind on the dentist all together.
I hate the judgement of the hygienist but I love the clean teeth afterward!
