Weekend Recap

Hey guys!

On Friday I had a 1/2 day off from work.

A peek into my very exciting 1/2 day off …

Someone was not very happy that his afternoon nap was interrupted (at least that’s what I took his constant grunting while in the bath to mean). 🙂

The rest of my day off consisted of food shopping and wrapping some gifts. One of the gifts that was delivered was a gift that I bought for myself.

How cute is this key ring with Bosco’s picture that I made on Shutterfly?! I love it!

Friday night Pat and I met some of his friends for dinner. The steakhouse that we went to did not take reservations, but when we called the night before, we were told there should not be much of a wait. Well, that was not the case and we ended up having to wait 1 1/2 hrs. for a table. Although the wait was definitely a little frustrating, the food and company was great.

Saturday morning started with a walk with the Shih Tzu followed by breakfast.

After breakfast, I went to get my nails done.

The rest of Saturday was spent doing some last minute Christmas shopping for Pat, reading, hanging out with Bosco while Pat was out Christmas shopping, and lounging on the couch.

Saturday night we got pizza for dinner – sausage and pepperoni for Pat, margherita pizza for me, and Bosco had a few bites of pizza crust. 🙂

The rest of the night was spent watching TV together on the couch.

Sunday morning started off with another walk with the Shih Tzu.  Before we left for our walk, we needed to see how Bosco looked in the new scarf that someone bought for Pat.

quite sophisticated if I do say so! 🙂

When Bosco and I got back from our chilly walk, we all took a ride to get some coffee and bagels for breakfast. After breakfast, Pat went to the gym and I took a shower and did some laundry.  Speaking of laundry, did I tell you guys that the replacement washer that we got (you know, the one that broke after just 2 days!!), also broke after just a few days??  We returned that model to the store and got a completely different washer, which we have been very happy with so far.

We had some leftover pizza for lunch and then went to a few stores that I needed to go to (Trader Joe’s, Target, and A&P).

I may have also needed a Caramel Brulee Frappuccino.

It was delicious in case you are wondering. 🙂

Have a great night! 🙂

How was your weekend?

  1. Bosco is so cute! Also the pizza looks yummy! Margherita pizza is my favorite, I miss living in NY, I can’t get good pizza where I live now. Glad you have a fun weekend. 🙂
