Hey guys!
How was your weekend? We had a pretty busy (but fun!) one over here.
Friday night our realtor came over to see our house and discuss putting our house on the market. He was over for about 2 hrs. and we discussed other houses in the area that were for sale, recently sold, and went over recommendations to get our house ready to put on the market. The realtor suggested just a few little changes, such as getting some nice curtains for our dining room, rather than the long blinds that we currently have in there. We also want to do some touch up paint and the moulding in the dining room. After we get these little improvements done, we should be able to get our house on the market in the next few weeks.
Saturday AM we took Bosco to the vet for some vaccinations that he was due for. My baby had to get a few shots as well as blood taken for a yearly wellness exam. Due to this, I am not so sure Bosco would agree that we had a fun weekend at all. 🙂 We have noticed that as he gets older, he makes it very known when he is not happy about something – mostly by grunting. He grunted quite a bit while at the vet yesterday – Pat and I both found it to be quite funny.
Later in the day was when the fun of the weekend came into play – Pat, my sister, my sister’s friend, and I went to a Jason Aldean and Kenny Chesney concert. If you have been reading my blog for a while, you know that I LOVE Kenny Chesney. The concert was at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ. Pat and I drove to my sister’s apartment since she lives only about 35 mins. from the Stadium and we all drove there together. It was $30 to park there, so it didn’t make sense to take 2 separate cars.
The concert was awesome and we had a great time (aside from the drunk woman in the seat behind us who spilled beer on us about 10 times!!).
We didn’t get home until 1 AM or so and didn’t go to sleep until about 2 AM, so it was a slow Sunday morning. I did the usual household stuff – laundry, cleaned the bathroom, vacuumed the house, took Bosco for a walk – and then Pat and I went to get bagels for breakfast. We got a bagel for Bosco as well (even though we give him just a few bites of a plain bagel). After breakfast, Pat hung out on the back deck reading (it was way too hot (92) out for me!! haha) while I stayed inside (in the nice cool house) and made some fiesta chicken in the crockpot for the week.
Pat and I then ran a bunch of errands earlier today. We went to Bed Bath and Beyond and bought some new curtains for our dining room, like the realtor suggested.
While we were at Bed Bath and Beyond, I also tried to return my Keurig that broke and see what could be done. For those of you that have been on the edge of your seats to find out how I made out with my broken Keurig, I am happy to say I now I have a brand new one for just $29!! 🙂 Bed Bath and Beyond was able to verify that the model that I had was one they once carried and gave me a credit for what it was currently worth – which was $68. A new machine was $119. I was able to use a 20% off coupon and after the credit was applied, the total was only about $29! I can’t complain about that, especially since my broken Keurig was about 8 years old or so. I am currently enjoying a cup of coffee made with the new machine as we speak. 🙂
